Privacy Policy for Pixel Pals
Last Updated: March 5, 2026
HR Interactives ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Pixel Pals mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our App, available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
By downloading or using the App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information Collected Automatically
When you use the App, we and our third-party partners may automatically collect the following information:
Device Information: Device model, operating system version, screen resolution, and unique device identifiers.
Anonymous Authentication Identifiers: We generate an anonymous user ID through Firebase Authentication to identify your session. On iOS, this may be linked to your Apple Game Center account. No email, phone number, or password is collected.
Player Nickname: The display name you choose in the App, used to identify you to other players in multiplayer sessions.
Advertising Identifiers: Your device's Advertising ID (Google Advertising ID on Android, Identifier for Advertisers on iOS) may be collected for ad serving and attribution purposes.
IP Address: Collected by our networking and advertising partners for connection routing and approximate geographic ad targeting.
Usage Data: Basic session data such as app launch events, session duration, and general engagement metrics collected by the Unity engine.
1.2 Voice Chat Data
The App includes an optional voice chat feature for real-time communication with other players during multiplayer sessions. When voice chat is active:
Your device's microphone captures audio and transmits it in real-time to other players in your game session.
Voice audio is streamed directly between players and is not recorded, stored, or retained by us or our service providers.
You may mute your microphone at any time during gameplay.
1.3 Information We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect your real name, email address, phone number, physical address, payment information, photos, contacts, location data, or any other personally identifiable information beyond what is described above.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
Multiplayer Gameplay: To connect you with other players, synchronize game state, and enable real-time voice communication.
Authentication: To create and maintain your anonymous game session across devices.
Advertising: To serve advertisements within the App (functionality to be introduced in a future update). When ads are active, ad partners may use device information and advertising identifiers to deliver relevant advertisements.
App Improvement: To understand general usage patterns and improve App performance and stability.
Compliance: To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

These third-party services operate under their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.
4. Advertising and Tracking
4.1 Advertisements
The App will display advertisements provided by Google AdMob in a future update. Ad partners may use cookies, device identifiers, and similar technologies to serve ads based on your interests and prior interactions.
4.2 App Tracking Transparency (iOS)
On iOS devices, we will request your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework before accessing your device's Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA). You may choose to allow or deny tracking. If you deny, you will still see ads, but they may be less relevant to your interests.
4.3 Opting Out of Personalized Ads
You can opt out of personalized advertising by:
iOS: Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking, and disable tracking for Pixel Pals.
Android: Go to Settings > Google > Ads, and enable "Opt out of Ads Personalization."
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:
With Other Players: Your chosen nickname and voice audio (if voice chat is enabled) are shared with other players in your multiplayer session.
With Service Providers: Our third-party partners (listed in Section 3) process data on our behalf to provide their respective services.
For Legal Reasons: We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or the public.
6. Data Retention
Authentication data (anonymous user IDs) is retained for as long as your account exists or until you uninstall the App.
Multiplayer session data (nicknames, game state) is transient and is not retained after a session ends.
Voice chat data is streamed in real-time and is never stored.
Local game progress (saved on your device via local storage) is deleted when you uninstall the App.
Advertising data retention is governed by the respective ad partner's data retention policies.
